Mr. Tapia had not filed his tax returns during the time period of 2002 - 2007 (filed in 2008) had always done taxes on time prior to this. In mid 2003 the mother of his son left him, he sold his house to settle with her. Mr. Tapia's proceeds of the sale went to pay his first Ex. for child support he owed her. He was in the construction business during 2000-2005 but it wasn't what he was suppose to be doing at that time, he started school at ITT Tech for a short time, but had to stop, this just got him more into debt A Student Loan he had to pay back and didn’t even get to finish, but still paid the loan. While trying to get himself out of the hole He wanted to pay off debts but he no longer wanted to work 7 days a week at the Tapia Family Farm and he did not want a 9 - 5 job like others had advised and the reason the Ex left. Mr. Tapia thought the time spent with his two son's was more important. At the time one lived in Lancaster, CA. and the other lived in Thousand Oaks, CA. almost 2 hours apart, he was driving a lot, going to practices, games etc..so they would know their father and that they were brothers, just from other mothers:) To him the time spent with his kids, especially while they were young.
Mr. Tapia's taxes were put on the back burner and has been struggling to get through this very difficult time in his life and at the same time trying start a home business on the internet, to pay my ex wives their child support, spend as much time with my boys as possible, help my parents now that they are now in their early 80's and succeeding with his goals, dreams and vision he had of building Churches.
